It was a delight to have the opportunity to visit this fantastic hotel on Friday afternoon. More so because it’s a hotel that I had the pleasure of escorting people around 9 years ago during my time as New Business Development Manager for the Principal Hayley Group, but it was always with a heavy heart due to the potential it had as an event space, the hotel it was and the venue it could be.

So it was an even greater delight to see that finally some very much needed investment has gone into restoring the hotel to its original splendour.

The hotel which reopened its doors in the past weeks will offer event space for up to 450 when the meeting and event space is completed (June 2018), and lovingly ties in the Victorian grandeur of the old with new modern elegance.
