A couple of weeks ago I attended the first ISES-UK event of the year, venue location – Shoreditch, so was expecting something a little out of the ordinary.
If you’re looking for the latest in edgy and cool as a backdrop for your next event, then you need to check out the latest offering in the pop-up venue and street food scene, Dinerama, which has returned to London for 2016.
Organisers Street Feast, and founder Dominic Cools-Lartique also offer Hawker House, Dalston Yard and Model Market, and are soon to start a collaboration with a cinema company in the shadow of Battersea Power Station.
Once a former bullion truck yard, Dinerama is a two level, 1,000 capacity venue in the heart of shoreditch, with six bars and showcasing some of the best street food traders in London. I highly recommend Bird Box, it’s a touch of ‘chicken heaven’ in a box!
In terms of private event space Dinerama offers; a rooftop event space to accommodate up to 500, an alpine lodge with burning fires, alpine views and great vibes for 200 guests, House of Bamboo, an intimate dining area perfect for small private parties up to 20, Winerama, a Cal-Italian wine garden, perfect for wintertime undercover sunshine for up to 60, and the Zephyr Lounge, a British 1950s cocktail lounge with a capacity of 220.
Dinerama will also be open for summer events with bespoke areas, as well as full venue hire for up to 1,000.
Plans don’t stop there, openings in Brighton and Manchester are in the works in addition to The Big Apple!
