It’s been a while since I’ve done a venue spotlight for Diary so I wanted to come back with a corker for you!
A couple of weeks ago I attended an open day at Farmers & Fletchers in the City, a stunning new venue in the heart of the City of London. My first impression of the venue was one of surprise as it’s not what you would expect from a livery hall, beautifully refurbished throughout and it’s contemporary design is a complete break from the norm.
Farmers & Fletchers is the jointly owned HQ of the Worshipful Company of Farmers and the Worshipful Company of Fletchers. Work on the refurbishment was completed late August and the stunning new hall was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal, a Past Master of the Company, on September 8th 2015.
A flexible and versatile venue the event space is split over 2 floors with high-spec technology and the odd throwback to the heritage of Farmers & Fletchers.
As event professionals we all love a worthy cause don’t we? All surplus profits from this venue are ploughed back (pardon the pun) into charities that develop vital farming and food production skills. By supporting the industry through education, grants and awards, the Worshipful Company of Farmers provide vital financial help for students on specialised educational courses including those at the Royal Agricultural University and the Duchy College of Cornwall. The Worshipful Company of Fletchers also supports the charity Archery for the Disabled and members of the GB Paralympic archery squad.
I highly recommend checking out this venue #eventprofs, it ticks all the boxes for me and you can contact their sales and events team by calling 020 7600 2064 or by visiting their website www.farmersfletcherscity.london.
Until next time #Eventprofs…
