Hello and welcome to the ‘Diary of an #Eventprof’ blog!

My name is Helen Moon and I’ve worked in the Events Industry since 1997.

Approximately 12 months ago, after just a few years working in Sales and Business Development for a selection of Conference and Event Hotels and Venues in central London, I decided on a change of direction to Marketing and Event Management.

I’ll be blogging about this transition and my event journey from Sales Manager to Events Manager as well as the latest and greatest news on everything events.  Along the way I’ll try to make this blog a touch more interesting to read than your coffee maker user manual!
